    Rod Chapovalov, Founder

    My journey into roofing began with a transition from legal and business studies to mastering the art of traditional French roofing. In 2014, I apprenticed with La Bisontine de Couverture, where I specialized in heritage buildings and worked with premium materials such as zinc, copper, and slate. My dedication to the craft led me to graduate from Les Compagnons du Devoir, the most prestigious school in France and one of the finest institutions for craftsmanship in Europe, renowned for its commitment to excellence.

    At the age of 24, I launched a successful roofing business in France before settling in Australia. While working as an operational manager at Mr. Clad, I adapted to Australian industry standards and led my team to win the Metal Roofing and Cladding Association of Australia's Award of Excellence in 2023 for a complex curved roof project.

    Now, with over a decade of experience, I am proud to launch Timeless Artisanal Roofing & Cladding. My vision is to merge the precision and artistry of French craftsmanship with the innovation and practicality of Australian construction, delivering sustainable, high-quality roofing solutions that are as beautiful as they are durable.
